ScriptPlayer Review
Introduction
ScriptPlayer is a dedicated video player that syncs funscripts with toys via Buttplug/Intiface, popular for its simplicity and Handy/Launch focus.
My Experience
ScriptPlayer was one of the first funscript players I used back when getting into interactive content, and I've returned to it periodically over the years for quick, no-fuss sessions—especially with single-axis devices like the original Handy or Fleshlight Launch. I've run it in setups with Intiface for Bluetooth toys, testing dozens of scripts from EroScripts and community sources.
The interface is clean and straightforward: load video + script, connect device via Buttplug, and play. It handles basic funscripts reliably, with good options for offset, speed scaling, and chapter support (great for long videos). In my tests with The Handy, sync was accurate for most content, and the built-in video player (or VLC integration) works well for non-VR. I appreciated the shuffle mode for random script playback during variety sessions, and connection stability was solid once Intiface was configured.
For simple scripted play or CockHero-style content, it's hard to beat the ease. However, as hardware got more complex (multi-axis like OSR2/SR6), I found myself switching to MultiFunPlayer—the lack of native multi-axis layering and limited player integrations (no native DeoVR/HereSphere streaming) became limiting. Some Bluetooth connections drop if interference is high, requiring restarts. It's also Windows-only, and updates have slowed compared to newer tools.
Still, for beginners or single-device users wanting an all-in-one player without extra setup, ScriptPlayer remains dependable. I've had reliable 1–2 hour sessions with minimal tweaking.

How It Compares
Vs. MultiFunPlayer: Simpler but less capable for complex rigs. Vs. vFAPS: Playback-only, no authoring or marketplace.
The Verdict
